Group activities may include, but are not limited to, social events, educational programs, regular meetings, community outreach, and press conferences.

The purpose of the Democratic Alliance is to advance the goals and purposes of the Democratic Party through social, civic and political activities. Our monthly meetings are an opportunity to meet with other Democrats and talk about upcoming events. In addition, we typically invite a speaker to each meeting to educate us about current issues and organizations.

Franklin D. Roosevelt Women’s Democratic Club

The FDR Women’s Club is the oldest continuing club in Greene County, established in 1933 after the election of Franklin D Roosevelt. The FDR Club is affiliated with the Missouri Federation of Women’s Democratic Clubs, and works to support candidates and further the role of Democratic women (and men) in government.

Senior Democrats of the Ozarks
Meets on 2nd Tuesday of each month
Senior Democrats of the Ozarks was founded in 2003, led by the late Rev. Nelson Parnell. The mission of the Senior Democrats is to further the basic philosophy of the Democratic Party, seek the restoration of sanity, compassion and intelligence in our political leadership, and to assist in the election of candidates who seek office to carry forward that philosophy. They also work for the passage or defeat of certain legislation and encourage discussion of issues of special concern for Seniors. Voting membership is open to anyone 50+.

Missouri Progressive Vote Coalition
Missouri Progressive Vote Coalition (ProVote) is a statewide coalition of labor unions and community groups that work to promote progressive policies through electoral engagement. We believe grassroots groups can be more effective by working together.
ProVote was founded in 1992 to give grassroots organizations the tools to engage their membership in the public policy process. Missouri ProVote has offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield to help us serve the entire state. ProVote is a member of USAction, the nation’s largest progressive activist organization with affiliates in 23 states.
